Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how The Cloud Mastery («TCM», «we») collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use the Azure Advisor Analyzer platform, our website, our APIs, and related professional services (together, the «Platform»).

This document complies with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties («LFPDPPP») and follows good practices informed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 («GDPR»). The Platform is not currently directed at residents of the European Union; if that changes, we will update this Policy.

Organizational data: Azure tenant identifiers, subscriptions, and internal naming.

Technical metadata from Azure Advisor and other Microsoft services (e.g., resource IDs, recommendations, consumption metrics).

Platform usage logs and cookies.

We do not process special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.

Purposes and legal bases

Primary purpose: to provide, maintain, and improve the Platform, produce optimization reports, and enable distributors and resellers to manage commercial opportunities.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and the equivalent of «necessary for the legal relationship» under the LFPDPPP.

Other purposes:

Billing and administration (legal obligation and/or legitimate interest).

Security, audit, and fraud prevention (legitimate interest).

Commercial communications about TCM or Microsoft products (consent, with a clear opt-out).

Where the legal basis is consent, you may withdraw it at any time without retroactive effect.

International transfers and storage

Data is stored in Microsoft Azure in regions chosen by the customer (European Union or North America). Any transfer outside Mexico relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms recognized under the LFPDPPP.

We share data only with:

Microsoft and its subsidiaries, for hosting the Platform.

Sub-processors providing ancillary services (e.g., technical support, transactional email) under contracts with equivalent privacy safeguards.

We never sell personal data to third parties.

Retention period

We will retain data for as long as the contractual relationship continues and, after it ends, for up to twenty-four (24) months to address potential legal liabilities, unless the law requires or permits a different period.

User rights

You may exercise the following rights free of charge:

LFPDPPP: access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO rights).

Other applicable laws: any additional rights under your local legislation (e.g., portability or restriction of processing).

To exercise your rights, email privacy@thecloudmastery.com with the subject line «Data rights request» and include the information needed to verify your identity.

If you disagree with our response, you may file a complaint with Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (www.inai.org.mx) or, where applicable, with the authority in your country.

Information security

We apply technical and organizational measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework good practices, including encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication (MFA), logical segregation by tenant, and periodic vulnerability assessments.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies for the site to function. With your consent, we may enable analytics cookies to measure Platform performance. You can manage cookie preferences at any time via the relevant banner.

Policy changes

We will publish any changes at this same URL. If changes are material, we will seek your consent again where the law requires.
